AWI & Intermec Announce Formal Partnership
Advanced Wireless, Inc. (AWI) and Intermec Technologies Corp. have partnered to provide world class wireless LAN and mobile computing solutions for the enterprise.
"AWI is pleased to be named to the Intermec Honors Partner program." said AWI President and Chief Executive Officer Darryl Morin. "Intermec is a recognized technology leader in the fields of mobile computing and Auto ID. AWI has certified the CK30 handheld computer, CV60 vehicle mounted terminal and 4420E bar code printer for integration into AWI's Low Cost of Ownership (LCO) enterprise architecture. AWI is currently porting its Windows CE LCO software client to Intermec's new CK30 handheld computer. This version, called ICE cuts system configuration time, improves system security and drastically reduces system support resources. As a result, total cost of ownership is extremely low and the return on investment is further increased."
